Her ability to foster alignment between public and private sectors continues to position her as a trusted advisor in building sustainable, equitable workforce ecosystems—especially in high-growth industries such as healthcare, technology, construction, and clean energy.

Part-time, Yvette serves as Director of Operations at Project JumpStart, Inc., where she helps guide organizational strategy and leads team development for one of Maryland’s most impactful pre-apprenticeship programs. Frequently seen facilitating and participating in panel discussions across the state and online, she actively shares her voice to encourage employer engagement, cross-sector collaboration, and the integration of best practices across the broader workforce ecosystem.

Prior to her consultancy work, Yvette held executive roles that shaped her practical understanding of business operations and growth: Chief Operating Officer of a $24MM+ logistics firm in Howard County, Vice President of an international publishing company in Rockville, and Founder/CEO of a health and beauty company in Frederick, MD. These experiences ground her approach to workforce development in the real-world needs of employers and entrepreneurs.

A recognized thought leader in apprenticeship models, alternative career pathways, and contemporary workforce strategies, Yvette lends her voice and expertise to organizations including United Way of Central Maryland and Baltimore Together. Her leadership has earned her numerous honors, including The Daily Record’s Top 100 Women in Maryland Circle of Excellence (2016, 2022, 2025), Frederick Economic Development’s Entrepreneur of the Year, and Frederick Magazine's Person to Watch. Her work has been featured in The Frederick News-Post, The Daily Record, citybiz, the Build Your Path Podcast, and regional TV networks.
